COVID-19 Business Resources

Disaster Relief Grant from Pampa EDC + Gray-Pampa Community Fund

The Pampa Economic Development Corporation, in conjunction with the Gray-Pampa Community Fund, is offering Disaster Relief Grants to businesses located in the City of Pampa, Texas.

The Pampa Economic Development Corporation has contributed approximately $170,000.00 and the Gray-Pampa Community Fund has contributed approximately $230,000.00 (of which the Pampa Economic Development Corporation had previously contributed $125,000.00), for a total of $400,000.00 to be distributed to eligible businesses located in Pampa, Texas.

The Disaster Relief Grants are intended to be an incentive to local businesses to expand to the size, enterprise and/or revenue levels experienced by those businesses prior to the pandemic crisis.

Application Deadline: May 29, 2020, by 5:00 p.m.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Business must be located within the City limits of the City of Pampa, Texas.
  2. Business must have been in business for more than one year prior to February 1, 2020.
  3. Business must have a commercial business location in the City of Pampa, Texas. Home-based businesses are ineligible for the grants.
  4. Non-profit organizations are ineligible for the grants.
  5. Business must provide receipts showing that all ad valorem taxes have been paid through 2019.
  6. Business must provide a Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts sales tax report for January- March, 2020.
  7. Business must provide copy of its Texas Workforce Unemployment quarterly report for January-March, 2020
  8. Applications must be submitted to the Pampa Economic Development Corporation by May 29, 2020, by 5:00 p.m. Applications shall be submitted by email to cmccord@pampaedc.com or hard copies of the applications may be delivered to the offices of the Pampa Economic Development Corporation located at 107 E. Foster, Pampa, Texas, by appointment.  
  9. Grant recipients will be notified of the grant award following the Pampa Economic Development Corporation Board Meeting to be held on June 4, 2020.  Grant recipients must execute a Grant Performance Agreement prior to the Public Hearing to approve the Disaster Relief Grants to be held on June 12, 2020.
